In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper. Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture until evenly coated. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the shrimp to the hot oil and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
